perform subtraction exercises and other tasks to see how quickly
they could process new information before and after being exposed
to the scent of rosemary in their work stations. Speed and
accuracy were improved by 60-75% after the rosemary.
Not only is lemon oil an invigorating and delicious aroma, it
has many benefits for emotional health. Lemon is known to be
especially good for elevating attitude, mood and spirit, and
helping deal with depression and mood swings. In research performed
at the Laboratory of Nutritional Biochemistry in Shizouka, Japan,
Lemon essential oil was shown to inhibit memory impairment from
scopolamine exposure, preventing dementia.
If your eyelids are getting heavier, smell a bottle of juniper.
Juniper stimulates all the activities within the body. This effect
also helps overcome fatigue, dizziness and depression, and It
increases the activity of the brain and nervous system. Juniper
berries assist in keeping the brain fit and free of seizures as
well as other such afflictions. It is also very abundant with
Vitamin B as well as Vitamin C, and small quantities of calcium,
protein, carbohydrates, fiber, lipid, and ash.
Clary sage gets its name from the Latin word “clarus,” which
means “clear.” It was referred to as “clear eyes” during the
